This is for a set of (2) matching Antique Wine Glasses / goblets / Rummers. Measurements: 5-1/4" tall by 2-1/4" wide top rim.

The bowl of glasses are hand blown down into a funnel stem shape, there are no seams on the glasses, they are smooth. The stem has a knop in the center, the stems have a seam on either side (that is somewhat slanted) that goes up to the top of the knop and stops on the top of the base. The bottom has no seam but a highly polished off pontil mark from the pipe. Basically this piece is blown - molded. This glows a light apple green when placed in UV light, which is a characteristic of old glass from this period due to the clarifying agents they used during this time.

From my research I would say it was c. Most references usually say c. 1820 on pieces with this style/stem.

It is most likely English or other European in origin. I have seen this same shape of glass and bowl listed as 1700's glass but I don't know that its 18th century. Condition: This is in great condition for its age, with no chips or cracks. These are very rare glasses.

Please note Pressed, molded or blown Glass has imperfections from the manufacturing process. These imperfections are inherited by production and not considered damage.

However Any large imperfections that look real bad will be noted as major defects of course, but minor imperfections that often occur such as: color variations, creases/lines from molds, tiny air bubbles or small debris encased in glass is natural as not going to be scrutinized or considered damage.
