The bell-shaped base has a very deep and rough pontil mark, as blown. This HUGE piece measures 12 3/4" in diameter and stands 8 5/8" tall. Weighs almost 5 POUNDS before packing!
Displays beautifully, with one very tiny nick to top edge, as shown in bottom photo. Otherwise, in excellent condition, with absolutely no other chips, nicks, cracks, hairlines, stains, or repairs. Any lines seen in the pedestal or foot are simply "straw-marks" or glass threads dating from the time the stand was hand blown. There are NO hairlines or cracks. Glass is crystal clear, with no cloudiness or haze.
Please excuse the glare and reflections in my photos. Usual wear, scuffs, and scratches to bottom of foot, as expected. GUARANTEED OLD and NOT A REPRODUCTION.
