Antique Boston & Sandwich GI-27 Blown Mold Glass Pint Sized Decanter Bottle
Offered for sale is a beautiful antique blown mold glass decanter bottle manufactured by the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company during the early 1800s. The decanter is in the GI-27 Swirled or Semi-Spiral pattern and it is the pint variety standing approximately 7 1/4 tall without the stopper. The bottle includes an original blown mold lollipop stopper and it has a rough pontil mark on the bottom.
The overall condition of the bottle is excellent. There are no chips, cracks, or damaged areas other than two small chips to the flared finish at the top. The bottle is very clean both inside and out with some very minor cloudiness in the base. The pattern details are crisp and you can expect to find the standard imperfections associated with older glass to include strawmarks, inclusions, airbubbles, etc. I have not cleaned this bottle, so they may clean up nicer then shown.
