More info in Corning Museum online! This one piece of Amber Crystal Gorgeous rare, unique possibly custom ordered and only one! Made Circa 1890, may even be an Exhibition piece!
Is amazing, definition of Master Glass Artist Design. Measures: 8 inches tall, 5.5 inches deep, 5 inches wide, with a hole at top of 3.75, weighs 4 1/2-5 pounds. Every Glass Technique in the book used on this beauty, started w/1 piece of Amber Crystal, cut, shaped, engraved, patterned, buttoned, ribbed, beveled, incredible polishing job. Incredible Museum piece, last 2 pictures were taken outside so the true color shows through better than the previous 10 indoor shots!!
Other than a few scuffs on flat of bottom from blemish are shadows, my greasy finger prints, no flaws, no chips, cracks, damage, repairs as it left the master glass makers hands, probably had its own box at one time!
