Lindstrand is famous for pioneering the Swedish glassblowing technique Ariel, alongside Edvin Öhrström and Knut Bergqvist in the early 20th century. He worked as a designer at Orrefors from 1928 to 1940, and later served as the artistic director for Kosta Boda from 1950 to 1972.This amazing piece features light blue glass with a wavy rim design. Pieces of Kosta Boda production glass like this one were not individually signed by the artists, but the LH signature and serial number (1029) indicates that this piece was designed by Lindstrand. This amazing vase measures 4 1/2" in diameter and 4 6/8" high, is previously owned and in great condition, showing no signs of use or wear.
